Professional Experience
• Faculty, Composition/Theory and Voice Departments, Composer-in-Residence, Community Music Center of Boston, Boston, MA. I teach eight levels of music theory/solfege/composition for the Intensive Study Program (ISP) which prepares high school-aged students for a conservatory environment. I also teach adolescents and adults private lessons in voice and music theory/composition and organized the student-run CMCB Open Mic Series. September 2007-present.
• Music Director, Pianist/Organist, Choir Director, First Parish Unitarian-Universalist, Medfield, MA. I direct the adult chorus of 10-14 members as well as select and perform piano and organ music for the weekly services for a moderate-sized congregation of approximately 100 members. September 2006-present.
• Voice Teacher, Eva Kendrick Voice Studio, Medfield, MA and Providence, RI. I teach voice lessons to 15 students (adults and adolescents), hold bi-annual concerts and encourage students to participate in NATS Song Festival events. 2008-present.
*Vocal Coach, Boston Latin Academy Vocal Ensemble, Dorchester, MA. I direct 12 students in a jazz, pop and R&B ensemble, sponsored by a grant from Fidelity Futurestage. 2010-present.
* Composition Instructor, Fidelity Futurestage Composition Program. I instructed four students in an intensive, one-year program to create their own original pieces. 2008-2009.
* Opera Educator for OPERAtunity Afterschool Program, Opera Providence, Olneyville, RI. I taught singing basics and opera scenes to inner city middle school students. 2006 & 2007.
• Voice Teacher, grades 7-12, SMARTS Summer Institute, Attleboro, MA. I taught private lessons, a musical theatre class, a songwriting class and a stage combat class at this summer program for high school aged students. 2006 & 2007.
